rally anyone??
i just wondered....
you know how they have car rallies where teams have a set course they follow by analysing clues and prove you have found the destinations by collecting items or answering questions.....
why couldnt you do the same thing on bikes?
just as a different fun exercise :)...

The Polaris Challenge is a two-day event, combining mountain biking with navigation and touring. Teams of two (or solo) ride between checkpoints scattered over a large area of rugged country. Each checkpoint has a value and the aim of the challenge is to accumulate as many points as possible within each day's time limit. Distance and 'difficult to access' checkpoints carry higher values and there are tough penalties for exceeding the time limits.
Saw an article once about a couple of guys who did it on unicycles....

Couple of us are going to be trying some cheap Chinese imports. Footage of CancerVoicesSA Ride was done on a little cam, held to helmet with rubber bands!
Contact the local Council of the areas where you want to stage the event, history officers will be able to give you some unique or unusual sites for us to find!

Is this like the "tour down undies" tour in your undies sort of event? have a fun bike event around the city and for the novelty angle, wear your undies on the outside or come dressed as your favourite super hero!
