Priorities
So here's the question. You've got your new road bike,you've got the clothing, the shoes, the helmet, the pedals and you've got emergency kit (pump, tubes etc) from the other bike. You've got $250 gifted as Chrissy presents to spend on bling. What will you buy?

5 tubes and 50 CO2 canisters and take endless joy in watching how damn fast they can inflate a flat!

no bling. tools, bikewash, chain cleaner gizmo/gadget/contraption, and a good light for those summer evening rides

Yes, really good bicycling glasses that keep out the wind, sand, bugs, stones and gravel flung up by cars, and can take a prescription bi-focal lens. Of course they must have some bicycle bling!
