My bruises are fading and my stitches are out, my gravel rash is hardly there at all. As if this weren't enough good news I will be picking up the new bike on Saturday!

The left knee is still pretty swollen and sore so I don't think that I'll be attempting Norton's on Sunday morning, but if not if you see a happy looking guy riding a new (red this time) pinarello up and down the beach, say hi.

That was Quick !

I know, I thought I'd be waiting for months, but it wasn't even two weeks. Well done RAA insurance.

So what did you have -- specified on a contents policy ?

No all the other party's insurance.

just as well as the RAA would have blown you off when it comes to the cover of bikes.

Wow, Isabella is barely cold and you're already hooked up with new talent?

I know, I know, but I just don't want to be lonely!

Backpacker I share your joy altho I'm picking up my new Orbea the easy way I did not have to have an accident. Enjoy.

Lucky you! Enjoy it. If you are picking it up from Mike Turtur's I may see you.

Missed you at Turturs. Took Nieve out for inaugural ride this am but gave up at the foot of Anstey's it was just too dangerous could not see a thing and he was getting wet.

I got soaked this morning too. Oh well, plenty of more opportunities to come.

Knee is actually feeling pretty good. I might have a crack at Norton's, I can always turn around.
