Patrick Jonker Veloway and Southern Expressway Duplication

Both major parties have been big on plans for the Southern Expressway
but little on detail. I'm asking everyone down south to get onto their local candidates to make sure that while the construction crews are widening the Southern Expressway they don't close down the Veloway, and that any disruptions to the Veloway are minimised with alternative safe routes provided and signposted, and that the opportunity is taken to fix some of the short-comings of the current path design.

I've asked my local Member if he can give me an assurance that the Veloway won't be impacted during construction, and if it is to be disrupted, that well marked and signposted detours are put in place. I've also asked if there are plans to fix the northern entrance to the Veloway to make it more obvious and accessible.

Give me the name(s) of MPs & email addresses. I live inner city, but at times catch the train down south with my bike and cycle the 30 km back, nearly all on shared paths, Veloway and cycle lanes.
More enjoyable exercise than Linear Park with the many pedestrians who do not know how to use a shared path.
The Veloway goes through a few electorates, Mawson, Reynell and Mitchell:

Leon Bignall is the member for Mawson (includes Noarlunga centre, Old Noarlunga and McLaren Vale): mawson@parliament.sa.gov.au

Gay Thompson is member for Reynell (Morpett Vale, Lonsdale, Christies Beach): reynell@parliament.sa.gov.au

Kris Hanna is member for Mitchell (Oaklands, Marion, Reynella): mitchell@parliament.sa.gov.au

John Hill is the member for Kaurna (Christies Beach, Aldinga, the Veloway doesn't go through here but is important feeder area): kaurna@parliament.sa.gov.au
Leon Bignall also cycles so he is a prime one to target!
Had a quick chat to Leon Bignall (Labor, Mawson) yesterday, he's assured me that the only times the Veloway will be affected is if they are doing blasting, and that they will try to avoid doing that at peak commuter times.

I tried to see about getting him to commit to a fix for the Coast-to-Vines Trail where it crosses Victor Harbour Rd while they're making the new overpass at the entry to Mclaren Vale, but he pretty much put that down as a Onkaparinga Council issue. So I guess I better hassle them...
