Hi Folks, following on from my post earlier this week, I was thinking about some climbs I'd be keen to try other than my usual trips and doing a search here I can across this ol' thread --> Adelaide Hill Climb Bucket List...
It got me thinking that I should map this out to make it easier to refer back to and tick off climbs as I do them.
So, being a bit bored at work this week, I came up with this --> Adelaide Hill Climbs Gmaps.
Can anyone think of any I've missed? Or maybe there's some on there that are too soft to qualify? Have a look and let me know!

The climb from my letter box up to my house...PM me for the address.
saddle hill track and cherry plantation road in Belair National park.
Mount lofty via Tilly's hill road is a good climb as well or are non sealed roads too tough?
non sealed roads climbs on the roadie can be good fun
Debneys rd back of Norton summitt
Manoah rd upper sturt
Spriggs rd Mt Lofty
Old rd Montacute
to name a few
saddle hill drive and cherry plantation road are both sealed, saddle hill spits you out on sheoak and cherry plantation on to Upper Sturt Rd.
I'd agree with these as hard climbs, SH for the incline (one part is ~ 20% - burn!) and CP for the length and incline. They are good for when you get bored with the Upper Sturt rd from Hawthorndene to Stirling or Crafers.
As for MTB rides in BNP, the Queens Jubilee drive has been completely resurfaced - not sealed, but graded and compacted - taking some of the challenge out of it, but Tilti track and Yulti Wirra Tracks are still rough and awesome - some tough climbs and wicked descents.
Also, worth trying Sturt Valley Road from Upper Sturt Rd to Stirling - the last few ks into Stlg should warm your legs up!
Anstey Hill, NE Road, Wynn Vale Drive, Grove Way, Seaview Road all up here in the North East. Varying lengths and climbs but all have their own character and "charm".
ooh yeah and also One Tree Hill Rd both directions out the back of Golden Grove and Mcintyre Road (Bridge to the Golden Way).
P.S your boss does not read this does he/she?
Spring Gully Rd up to Picadilly: Ridge Rd (south of Mylor, take Silver Lake Rd) up to Bradbury Rd:
up Knotts Hill and Pound Rds: + 1 for Saddle Hill and Cherry Plantation in Belair NP,
Saddle Bags Rd (care needed) then back down Cut Hill Rd to Kangarilla is a southern gem
Umm, Lobethal to Ashton ... up down up down up etc, if it's a suffer fest :-)
Woodside to Lenswood via Tiers Road
To clarify for Pound road, it goes Pound road > Knott's Hill road. If you're at the bottom of the hill, you can also choose to go up Burdett's road, (otherwise known as Little Italy) Which is a good little ride at about 9-10% for just over 1km, and if you're still keen you can continue that one up Range Road, which goes for another 1.5k's or so at the relatively sedate 7-8%.
Different climbs, both pretty great. A good hilly ride from town is up norton summit, down pound/knott's hill, up Little Italy and Range, and then turn around and go back the other way.
Cheers for the directions Sam, just did the down to Little Italy via Pound/Knotts Hill then up and out via Burdett's and Range Dr this arvo... it's a very pretty area.
Going down Pound/Knotts Hill was srsly fun, not sure about going back up tho!
