This Sunday, 9-1pm, graded Crit racing.

The roads have been closed off with the assistance of the ACC (cheers Steve!) and there will be food and coffee vendors around the place. So come on down, cheers on the riders - you might even know a few, and support cycling in this great city

how did you go?  what did you average during the race?

I think my average for the 15min was 36kph, i turned myself inside out to get the preme sprint at the half way point, but got rolledo n the line - on the guy that i had towed there insidently >:X

There was a bit of a stuff up in the 3lap wheel race as i was told i was in the conselation race - did it, got smasked but tried my hardest; them at the end of the i was advised that i was actually meant to rid in the FINAL of the wheelrace and so i had to ride that race about 10mins later - smae ehad start, got well and truely smashed by everyone.

It was a great day tho - weather, company, riding - just great

I am spewing I didn't get to see the wheel race! My 2 kids were tired by then so I spat the dummy and we all left :-) 36kph was a good speed for "e" grade especially with only 5 riders. I can't wait to do some crit racing next season. Need to find something to fill in my time between now and next crit season!!

That is a very good job re avg speed. In D we averaged 36.7 (i went in a break too so the pack would be slightly different) so we managed mostly 55second laps

Finished up at the back of the pack. Despite that result i created the 'days breakaway' keeping off the front for around 5-7mins (race was 22mins) with two others who chased me down/followed me. They then were too hammered to work with me -__-. I was hammered enough to not contest the 2nd preme sprint and letting the other two fight it out which only happened in the last 20metres. The race finished 5mins after we got caught im assuming.
