Apart from Cadel Evans winning again, who is your tip for the next Aussie to win the GC at the Tour De France? My tip is Jack Bobridge.

Richie Porte or jono cantwell. Won't be anyone from green edge anytime soon as they have specifically said they r not targeting the gc for a few seasons and I think they will recruit a foreign gc rider

Porte if anyone, maybe Meyer or Jack but I dont think either of them have started the tour yet nevermind winning it.
Goss might have a slim chance if they took the hills and TTs out.

100 odd years before our first winner..? So it's highly likely the next aussie winner won't even come from this generation, but Richie Porte would be my bet if it did..

tend to agree. Jack will find it hard to complete a 3 week tour, Richie is making a name as a bloody good Domesique and road leader. I think that the next winner is probably one of the junior crop we are yet to even hear about.

Richie Porte most likely from current crop. But there are juniors coming up, and neopros (is that the right term for guys just not quite at pro level yet but close) that are really good, from what I've read.
Could be 6-10 years tho…
