News: Adelaide Cyclists traditional cycling caps now available

Update: Last chance to place an order in this round.

I need to place the final numbers in by Saturday 4 so Rocket Fuel Style can get sewing and we can hopefully get them by Christmas.

Thanks to everyone who has ordered.

I've been asked a number of times about getting some AC kit so to kick things off --

Introducing the Adelaide Cyclists traditional cotton cycling cap. It's designed and handmade by Rocket Fuel Style, a bespoke cycling style designer in Sydney and I have kept the prices at cost because I love caps and would love to see people wearing them.

They are one size fits all perfect for hot summer days or cold winter mornings under your helmet or just apres cycle coffee. The sizes are basically one size fits all from a 54cm to a 61cm.

The caps are now available as a pre-order until Friday week - December 3 - so they can be made and delivered by Christmas so get in fast. Depending on demand a second round could be offered
or they might become exclusive!

Thanks to the cycling caps brains-trust (aka Smudge)

Order now! $26.00 + $2.90 postage click to buy on the Adelaide Cyclists Kit page.

or go straight to PayPal.

YaY!!! Now I wait :)
Just paid for one...I think (still getting my head around PayPal. Angus, pls let me know if you dont see the money)

Just hope its big enough for my XL noggin!
It's fine.

If people don't have PayPal you still pay with a credit car or bank transfer by not signing in just following the link to the left hand side of the page you arrive at.
Woo hoo, just ordered 3.

Perfect for stopping my scalp getting burnt - you should see some of the crazy sun burn patterns I've had from time to time. I've already got skin cancers up there (on all the pink hair, not the grey hair) and caps are the perfect way to keep the sun off plus control the sweat.

There was a discussion recently where someone got all thingy about people wearing caps under helmets - it was clear that person had a full head of hair and didn't really understand why some of us need to wear them. Bandanas work too, but mine are getting a bit tatty ... not to mention the TDU caps from a few years back.
Thanks Richard. That discussion was specifically about hard brimmed or baseball styled caps, not traditional cycling caps... I hope the whole family enjoys them ;)
Bugger the whole family, there're all for me - after sitting on my bonce for half an hour or more, they need a darned good wash.

Regarding the other discussion, although the gist was the hard brimmed hats, a solid swipe was also made at wearing anything under your helmet, though that may have been deleted fairly quickly.
Mate, hear ya re the skin cancers! After having to endure Effudix for a couple of months to get rid of the keratoses before that got worse, I always have a cap on now!

Have just ordered a batch of the #TDUPosse caps, but obviously need to add these ones to the collection too!
Looks great Angus. When my otehr order of goods comes through from Susan, I'll show you the musettes she has done up for the #TDUPosse. Might be next venture for I Bike Adl? Ok, so perhaps I like musettes as well as caps!!
Looks cool, my wife thinks I am on the works email, not paypal.....
It is.
Order placed for two caps mate.
Thanks everyone who have ordered a cap. We've reached mass production levels so it's all systems go. Of course there is still time to order.

Also, if you don't use PayPal and don't want to do the other services they offer let me know and I can send you bank details or an address to send a money order.
