Alright... It's time for me to get some new cycling sunglasses and I'd love to have your input on what to go for and what to stay away from.
Fire away :)

What's your budget? Do you require prescription lenses?
Permalink Reply by Hannah Cursaro on September 27, 2011 at 14:26 Don't require prescription lenses and my budget's around $150 max. (A decent pair of sunnies that'll last!) :)
Permalink Reply by Trent on September 27, 2011 at 14:52 Hi Hannah. Not sure what the LBS has but chainreaction.com and wiggle.com have some good Rudy Project glasses for the $150 mark..
Look online at Wiggle or similar, it will be way cheaper!
Hi Hannah, as the others have said, a bargain can usually be had at any one of the online shops.
However, if you'd prefer to buy from a LBS I've found that Super Elliotts in Rundle Street usually has a good range.
For $150 you should be able to pick up a good pair of Rudy Projects or BBB's.
Good luck!
Hi Hannah
I've been using a pair of SHIMANO glasses i got from JT's about 2 years ago and they are still going strong,
about the price your looking at.
Contact CLP he had some interesting ones on \sunday with vents to prevent condensation.
Permalink Reply by CLP on September 27, 2011 at 15:50 Oakley Jawbones.. :) about $200 from Evans Cycles including postage. They come with a second set of lenses (amber for night rides) and a decent hard case for storage. but obviously above the budget of the OP.
Miss V has some nice BBB glasses that she purchased from Super Elliott.. they'd be inside the stated budget.
Previously i'd used some of the cheaper glasses from PBK that have interchangeable lenses .. they work ok, as long as you don't expect too much out of them.
Permalink Reply by Hannah Cursaro on September 27, 2011 at 20:21 Everyone seems to be recommending the Oakley Jawbones - they must certainly live up to their reputation! I'll have to look into it. Do you know if they do a female version or do you think they're uni-sex?

Permalink Reply by Paul Mark on September 27, 2011 at 16:05 I brought these a while ago, great glasses if you can afford a little more.
