New Bike!

so i finally did it, upgarded from my clunky old Giant CRX 4 (flat bar roadie)

 

been looking around for a few months now and the 2011 Avanti Giro 4 was what I ended up getting from the guys down at the Unley Road Avanti store (great deal too).

 

only ridden it once so far (back from the store) but already loving it! so much lighter and smoother a pure joy to ride!

 

just in time for ride to work day as well :D

Very nice.  I was going to suggest you change your tires from the light weight Continentals I got last year with my Cadent but looks like Avanti have already done that:

 

" Kenda Kadence Ironcap Belt 700 x 23c Folding with Superlite Tubes "

 

Anyone know anything about Kenda ?  "Ironcap Belt" sounds like it has some puncture resistance.

There seems to be many Avantis out there. Today on GW there were 2 identical to mine and at least 8 or nine others.

Ditto I just got new bike to picked up Specialized Allez from JT cycles Elizabeth they are having closing down sale got it 50% off. First real road bike they move dont they beats my Mountain Bike with slick tyres. Look out tour rides im coming!!!

I upgraded from my Giant CRX4 just under a year ago, but have kept it and put panniers, kiddie trailer hitch on it etc. It feels so nice to ride my pinarello after being n the Giant. Your bike looks great - congratulations!
