I had a bit of time up my sleeve the other day and had a poke around Rundle Road thinking I might have a coffee and/or a gelati. Found Gelatisimo, interesting range of flavours but at $6.50 for a mini cup no wonder the place was empty. Settled for a coffee at Nano's which was nice but where do you go for a nice range of Gelati that doesn't require a 2nd mortgage.
Adelaide is gelato central, its everywhere, that's why i put on weight in SA no matter how much riding i do......;)
Gelato Bello is the go
Gelatissimo is second to none though, even if it does cost an arm and a leg!
Yep, always have a cibo iced coffee with vanilla gelati. Roast almond is also good. But an Affogato with gianduria (sp) is the biz.
You guys are able to indulge as much as you want because of all the riding you do!
You deserve a few treats here and there amongst the hundreds of kms you ride.
do they make FUIC gelati ?
Prego's on Jetty Rd Brighton is pretty awesome for their food and gelati... and there is an ice cream shop just a bit further up too,,,if you want full cream
Carry your own spoon and just hit coles/iga etc for the Weiss frozen mango gelati. Low fat, dairy free, zero cholesterol and no flavourings. Fill up on the fat free carbs so you can roll strong & live strong the rest of the week.
5-6$ for a litre. Only 3g of fat per liter. Sit in the shade and enjoy.
