Wednesday 17 March is National Ride2School Day. It's quite a large event in Victoria but there are some events being organised in NSW and SA too. Tomorrow morning, some children of Sturt St Community School and their parents will meet at the Princess Elizabeth Park at 8.30am to cycle or scoot, to school. It's a small school with a small number of children cycling daily but their number is growing. Are many other schools in SA involved?
Edwardstown PS always has give-aways for those who ride and they get team points towards their end-of-year total if they ride or scoot.
Not quite related, but the school also runs the "Walking Schoolbus" program and each year has 3 or 4 "buses" starting at the four winds one day a week.
