Our favourite orange and black motorbike brand has launched their very own range of pushies in Australia.

What do you think?

Dammit. I thought they'd released a range of norton commando cycles!!! The first to wear orange and black. Actually they look pretty nice. For the sake of market research do they need anyone to ride them around for a bit? I'd be more than happy!

They've been around for a while and look pretty good.  KTM graphics look  good on a MTB,  but I just don't think it looks right on a road bike.

I don't know KTM motorbikes but that's just me I guess but those bikes do look good (except the livery is a bit off). They actually look a lot like my bike, Focus. I wonder if the blueprints got shared across the Prussian borders.

They are not going for the cheaper end of the market though.

I had a mate who went to Taiwan to teach English and ended up working for a bike manufacturing company as a result of his love of cycling and ability to speak English. Lets just say that you would be amazed how many of the premium frames come off the same production line, look for the " made in Taiwan" or "hand made in Taiwan" sticker and you can safely assume...

KTM dirt motorbikes have an excellent reputation . From my limited experience , a few rides on an early 90's two stroke 125 , and a long ride on a late 90's ,500 four stroke enduro , I'd have to agree both were exceptional bikes.

don't forget Bianchi & Ducati have history.

Looks like you still get a Ducati with pedals

I agree. This is a company that has produced nothing but high quality gear for the last few decades, they have specialised and got it right, even when they ventured onto the road more recently. I'd have no reason to doubt them now, if I was looking for a new bike, or more to the point, if I was allowed to buy a new bike, I'd definitely check them out. For the record I like the orange and black.

maybe they could sponsor a pro UCI team

Seems odd that the site doesn't seem to specify which frames are carbon & which are alloy (or am I missing something?)

You can kind-of guess from the price. The alloy bikes seem decently priced and specced.
