Dear all AC Members,
I am writing hoping to get some support from the AC community to help bring Cipo to Adelaide in 2013.
I have been talking to Mario and he is keen to come to Adelaide but we just need a little help convincing SA Tourism.
A group has been setup on Face Book called We Want Cipo Down Under
(www.facebook.com/WeWantCipoDownUnder)
Can you please help us with this by "like" and sharing the page.
What we are hoping to achieve is 5000+ Likes to show Tourism SA how much the cycling community would enjoy having Super Mario in Adelaide.
Many Thanks

If you want a sprinter, Robbie McEwen would be a far better choice.

Not taking anything away from Robbie's awesome list of accomplishments BUT we have already seen him work his magic in Adelaide before.
Cipo would be exciting to see both on and off the bike

(but lock up your daughters)

If he could be next year's 'Merckx' in doing the community stage & making a few appearances (along with his purdy bikes) in the Bike Expo/Tour Village I reckon it'd be fantastic.

Great idea, not to mention how much it will help Trak sell more of their bikes/
Good thinking Glen

Some thoughts are (feedback is welcome)
1- Twitter Ride
2- Meet and Greet
3- Have him ride the Bupa Challenge
4- Small intimate dinner (15 Seats Only)
5- Chartered yacht cruise for Cipo Owners
6- MCipollini bikes display in the village
7- Legends Dinner

Cipo was famous for winning sprints in the first week of le Tour, then going home and watching the rest on TV ! Could not handle the mountain stages. I would like to see any one who does this, to have those wins taken from them. If you start, then finish as Robbie always tried to do, and in most cases was successful.
