Directors Chairs, like the ones below, make great, portable" tool tables", for working outside.
All you need, is a piece of board, to rest across the chair's arms. You then have somewhere to put your tools, bike parts, oil and coffee. Saves you stooping down -- keeps the tools out of the mud.
We need up to 10, asap! I've been looking at garage sales, but no luck yet .
old chairs are fine, as long as the wooden frame is OK. Frayed or torn canvas; cracked varnish - all OK by us for this.
Donations gratefully received at:
Adelaide Community Bicycle Workshop - 34 Long Street, Plympton. Saturdays 9-12.

I wonder how many sheds have the old card tables with folding legs that are rarely used.
Very good point - card tables with folding legs, would also be welcome.
I know of a community centre that had some trestle tables with fold out metal legs that they were trying to give away, i could see if they still have some if youre interested.
Yes please - as long as not too large, ie 8-seaters.
Thanks.
