Hi all

Yes, I know they're not valuable items but my young son got a freebie water bottle during the TDU. I think it had a slogan on it something like 'Cycle instead it's easier than you think' ?? from the Dept Transport Energy and Infrastructure???   .

Unfortunatley he left it at the Edwardstown Velodrome last friday. It has his name on it Hugh (surname).

For some reason he was very attached to it and is quite upset about having lost it.

Does anyone know where I can buy another one from??

Cheers

Those bottles may becoming rare. In Jan-2012 changed from DTEI to DPTI (Dept of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure).

There were thousands of these being given away at cycling events not so long ago, try contacting Bike SA who may have some left or would have a contact number within the Dept of Rec and Sport.

I will have a look when I get home. I may have one of those you can have.

Oh bless I know how kids are attached to things hope you can sort something out for him x

Er - try contacting the Office for Cycling and Walking at the DTEI.   At one stage they had some water bottles manufactured, as a promotion - they may still have some left. And might send you one out. Office of Cycling and Walking

there were three water bottles collected by South Coast - they were perched on the BBQ on Monday for collection.  That was one of them.  I saw it as I bought a sausage.  Go back out there tommorrow and collect it!

Fantastic, thanks Gemma.

If you don't have any luck finding his you can have some of these. All from TDU, some quite old (with Jacob's Creek on the back) but all unused.

Many thanks for the very kind offer Trevor - we've got it sorted.

Cheers

Roger
