It's my first TDU ride so I'm quite excited and hopefully the excitement will make up for the lack of training before hand but just wanted to wish everyone who is participating tomorrow a safe ride. Should be a great day.
Ps. Unfortunately washing the top doesn't make it smaller!

Have a good ride all!
Permalink Reply by Chris Hutchinson on January 19, 2012 at 20:37 have a great ride all! Will be skipper of a sweep vehicle so will be an interesting day seeing it from a different angle.. Ride safe & enjoy...and yes encourage all those newbies as you ride. Respect all on the road
Permalink Reply by Kasey VP on January 20, 2012 at 4:29 Due to a multi year injury, this is my first TDU ride too! I'm only doing the 80k leg, that used to be just a warm up for me, but I reckon I'll be right on my limits by Menglers Hill. I'm nervous and excited to be a proper cyclist again, doing cyclist things like this and even though I'm on a low tech bike, I hope to get up that damned last hill. If you see a guy pushing a flat bar commuter bike up it, then please offer encouragement, I'm doing my best with half a working body:) Safe riding everyone!
