Jens of the week
Professional cycling has thrown up some characters over the years but few better than Jens Voigt. I have been trawling through the youtube videos and thought I would share some each week starting with the interview with Jens, Andy Schleck and our own stuart O'Grady. Something I noticed at the end of stage 3 was typical Jens - he had been on the front driving the bunch and Michael Morkov had been in the break away for the third day straight. Morkov cracked big time on the last climb, and there was one shot just after that where you could see that Jens had taken it upon himself to roll along with him and make sure that he got to the finish ok; and they did roll across the line together some 5 minutes after the bunch. I thought that was a good example of the little things that a guy like Jens does that makes him so respected.
