Mum is always worried when I cycle, cause she says it's dangerous.
I rode all the way to Henley Beach and back yesterday in wonderful conditions. I felt very ordinary before the ride but quite good after. Negotiated the 70km without any danger, drama or incidents.
Today I started work on demolishing an old gazebo in the safety of my back yard. Despite wearing overalls, gloves and safety glassess, I managed to get a spark in my eye from the angle grinder, hammer my hand, kneel down on a sharp rock, pull a groin tripping over and best of all, copping a crow bar in the face.
My lip now looks like a botox treatment gone wrong and the left side of my face will probably go a nice shade of blue/purple.
I think next Sunday, I will cycle up and down the Adelaide Airport runway. I think it will be safer!!!
