Just checked my Garmin to see what I've done since purchasing in Early Nov.
I'm just an average sort of rider, 100, sometimes 200+ km per week. always for the fun of it, not trying to win anything.
Since the first ride on my new Colnago with a Garmin 500 (Amy's ride in Nov) I've done just over 2,000 km and climbed 15,505 Metres (that's heading towards twice the height of Everest at 8848m). Shows how much I love the Adelaide hills :-)
I was blown away by these stats, I bet there are plenty of AC riders who can beat this, but it really does show that 'it all adds up'.

I can see that I logged 6700km and climbed 65,500m for 2011 and you can also place your data next to a fellow athlete and make direct comparisons. All pretty cool stuff : )
Permalink Reply by Dave L on January 22, 2012 at 19:17 I reckon I would have done similar distance for 2011 so probably similar elevation. Pity I didn't have the Garmin earlier. I'll look into Strava, although I'm no athlete, just a reasonably fit cyclist.
