Any feedback about what type people are using ,how you rate it & how much it cost would be appreciated . At the moment I've got my eye on this one from the Cycling Express website : http://www.cyclingexpress.com/cycle/cycleops-fluid-2-trainer.aspx

Hurrah! Well, it's still for sale. :)

Thanks for the offer Alasdair ,but I'll pass ..I'm still looking at them . and might get one with data capabilities ..
Happy pedalling Maya ..

I've read heaps more and now am truly concerned about putting my baby on there. I think I will have to find a training bike first then go the trainer!

Don't be concerned about putting a good bike on a trainer - the only real concern is that if you run soft tyres you might go through them fast.  If you run something like Gatorskins they STILL last forever.

I've just done a bunch of research on this and ended up buying a Tacx Flow

However I'm still assembling it and therefore haven't used it yet so can't comment on whether I like it or not:-)

It looks pretty similar to the CycleOps one you mentioned...

Thanks ,, it looks flash ,, I'll have to check one out ..

I have the Fortius Multiplayer with a dedicated steel training bike, a pair of pedestal fans, 36" LCD TV.

Here is some info from the Stationary Trainering group page:

Michael if you want to just try one out I bought a basic one from Torpedo7 a couple of years ago used it twice and well it's in the garage just sitting there. It's a Tranzx JD111 from JD Components. This link to Torpedo7 may help
