I am loving pushing myself and seeing how far I can ride and really want to achieve something quite difficult.

I have to be careful though as having a young family it also has to be something quite achievable and not too costly.

Anyone have any suggestions on events or charity events that I should put on my bucket list??

try this for a challenge as its on my bucket list- Three peaks challenge http://www.bicyclenetwork.com.au/general/great-rides/42359/

apart from that, does it have to be cycling related? raising kids is a challenge itself :P

As soon as Adam posted the event I wanted to do it but I can't fit the training in for this one this year...

Why not go and see where your limit actually is? It might be refreshing to see where your failure limit actually is. I don't know if I am capable of finishing, but I'm gonna give it a go!

That's certainly food for thought Brentron.... maybe I should try riding some of the hills to see what they are like.. I have never been up any of them living down here. I would also have to fight the other half for this one :-)

Hi Michelle.

The route is laid out so that you can skip hills here and there if required and still regroup easily enough.  I'm sure there will be more than one - probably me - who will need to do so.  And good idea to get a bit of a look at some of the hills beforehand.  There are probably only 4 or 5 that I would consider seriously tough on their own (let alone all at once).

around the bay in a day and three peaks are on my list for the next 2 years (one each year)

what about competing in a triathlon? i am going to do a couple this summer series for something different.

The redliners 3 day ride.

maybe.. I know I can run and swim but all together...

there are a couple of "mini" ones which i am going to start with as i think i will struggle putting all three together!

Which ones Trent?

This is the series that i will probable start with i think
