Seems like lots of Acers had some cracking rides this weekend. RD6 doing well in his race, the three Amigos hunting magpies around Blewiitt Springs, the Belgian chocfest at Bracegirdles, the GWers doing whatever it was they did, Fifty Shades of something, what were they riding??. How lucky are we to live in Adelaide and enjoy this awesome weekend weather

Lots of holes in your story now Pat. You never fang downhill and there were no geese on the road today. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt an assume that you beat us to the winery and snaffled 5+ geese for a Sunday webber roast when you got home :)

There are more holes in yours and Matt's helmets, than in my story. I was fanging it real good, I was the fastest man in f grade today I'll have you know.

There was actually a dead goose by the side of the road but it wasn't me, honest. Probably attacked by a rampant hormonal magpie.

Ahhh, so you are a fast F grade fanging feather fu plucker. I believe you now :)

What Pat coveniently forgets to mentions, is that he was out fanged by 2 females ;-)

so Pat was wheel sucking girls.  That's a bit low.

not for the first time either.

Had zero inclination to get out there this weekend despite the cracking weather. Lacked a bit of family time lately so just kicked back on the couch, played with the kids and worked around the house. Kudos to all who got out!

fail Trent ... but get where your coming from the roads and hills will always be there - they ain't going anywhere :-)

Only did a short ride of about 30km but it was fast thanks to the bunches that were racing down at Milang....ended up on the back of the autobus for a nice trip back into Milang....moral of the story is dont fang on the back of the bunch before the turn as will get left behind....a big positive was it was easy to grab onto the back of a passing bunch after getting dropped and managing to hang on for a fair while :)

Went to Mt Lofty saturday morning. It was beautifully sunny and the view looked over Adelaide totally covered by a white blanket of mist. Nothing like the cold and wet of the last 3 ascents. Bumped into AVO and Derek up  there.

Came back through Belair Park, Jubilee drive for a slow cuise through tall trees. Bliss.

This morning donned casual clothes sandshoes and flat pedals for a slow ride to the coast for breakfast bacon and eggs by the beach. Tried to get sunburned. Rest of the day was spent having a long family/friends lunch.

next weekend: commute all week, muddies on Saturday and TWEED RIDE on Sunday for the most fun ride of the year.

Well my one chance to get out this weekend, at 7.30 tonight, ended about 2/3 way down the old freeway with a broken spoke. Did spend 1/2 hr on the trainer last night though. GS#4 is going to hurt with so few kay's in my legs.
