I only ask because I got pulled up this morning by a police officer (for something incredibly minor...OK I was in the wrong!) and said he could've booked me with a $200 fine but let me off with a warning..

Apart from the wrist version of the Road ID®,  I don't carry any other form of ID so if the boys in blue want to book you, how do they do it?

What do you take with you, if anything?

I carry ID, seems the prudent thing to do in case of accident, I'm also an organ donor.

I've got an ICE listing in my phone.

Curious as to whether as a driver I should be carrying my license had me digging for the legislation, still haven't found any specifics. I remember that the law was to be changed such that one must always carry one's lisence when driving from simply having to produce it within 24 hours.

my wallet and phone and keys, Always !!!

I am not too concerned about being pulled up by the police, but I always carry my licence and mobile phone when I ride. If the unforseen happens, hopefully someone will be able to advise my family.

If you do the crime, be prepared to pay the fine. I don't feel the need to give false information if I was walking down the street, so I don't see the need to lie when I am riding.
