Before your other half starts rolling their eyes and complaining that they take up too much space in the house?

I have two roadies with no real excuse other than I'm too sentimentally attached to be without either. Deal was I had to get rid of a MTB and a 70's folder to get roadie #2 last year tho...

So I'd say that two is the limit in our house, what's yours?

8 bikes in our household, two roadies ( one's on the rollers and one is my current ride ), two cheap his & her MTB plus four kids bikes ( two kids bikes are stuffed just gathering dust )

How about gifting the dust collectors to the Community Bicycle Workshop/Bikes for Refugees.

good idea Clive, I use em as spare parts for the lads bike, they are missing bits and bobs

Nine currently - 4 kids bikes, two knock around MTBs/commuters and three road bikes, but soon to be four road bikes.

Bikes take up too much space in the house?

SHED.

2 road bikes, 2 mtbs, 2 kids bikes, 2 spare frames. A whole cupboard of assorted componentry; for when I have time to build the next two bikes up for the kids!

get a SHED!

Correct terminology Paul, its a Man Cave! :-)

Technically speaking, it's a bloody disaster area at the moment.... too much junk gets put in there taking up room that could otherwise be dedicated to building bikes!

Gotta change the locks...

I have the issue that the shed is full of junk but as soon as I want to throw things out she whom must be obeyed says that is precious.

I currently have 3 reliable bikes and one that is being worked on.

Lol, guess that's why I keep mine in the house - the man cave is well and truely inhabited by the man of the house!
S-1... That's exactly what I'm talking about lol!!

Ask Jeremy and Sophia. Their household has about 28 ridable bikes, without counting part-bikes and frames.
