When I bought my Dahon Jetstream P8 (front and rear suspension) they included a trouser band in the box - good excuse to get a new bike. Folding bikes are great fun for local commuting and provide smiles for free.

That was a nice little touch with Dahons. Unfortunately the Tern folders ( what has replaced Dahon) doesn't have them.

You can get any more from Dpti or MAC (no matter how many people you call or beg or try to say how you are helping ppl!)

I reckon they'd be available at novality shops or others that have been mentioned

I got one from BISA a few years ago; from a non-cyclist about 18 months ago advertising her company; and another one 3-6 months ago from somewhere else. So they are about, in different colours (silver, yellow) and wording. Gave my spare ones to another cyclist.

Last Tues (not yesterday) I was riding down NE Rd Valley View on my way back from Williamston around 1745 and there were about 30 of them lying in the gutter. On the little hill just before Grand Junction Rd. My ay-ups were lighting them up and I stopped and picked a few up. There were advertising a facebook page. I dont know if there are any still there.

My workplace had some made for ride to work day a couple of years ago. Nice and long, at least 3cm longer than the DPTI ones. I use them all the time on my jeans riding to work etc and on dark mornings up the hills.

I'm sure someone might be listening if we shouted loud enough that they were in demand again.
