The Wheeleris a free glossy magazine about cycling culture and enthusiasts in Australia and is available for free from local bike shops and cafes like Trak Cycles and The Bike Station (list here).
They called me to ask about what was happening in Adelaide the week before we rode H'eroica. The editor thought it sounded different so Snappy Don Brice took some photos and between us we penned some words and the result is out today.
You can read it online as a virtual magazine as well. This is our page.
There is also a small piece on our new Community Bicycle Workshop as well.
I thought the article might have been a bit longer, ie. more of snappy's great photos, but pretty good anyway.
Hey how was the serenity?
Permalink Reply by Gus K on December 2, 2011 at 18:52 I couldn't hear the serenity for the sound of my heart beating.
The idea was a sort of photo essay and a few words on what it was about. In the end there were more words and a different selection of photos that were a bit different.
Pretty good thought and they love to feature Adelaide because no one returns their calls from other states.

Permalink Reply by Gus K on December 8, 2011 at 14:02 Hi, Just a note to let you all know that this new issue of The Wheeler Magazine is out and about town in local bike shops and some cafes. I picked up my copy yesterday at The Bike Station and along with our H'eroica story it's a good read.
Here is the list of Adelaide locations but it is sure to expand.
