Some of you might have received this email today if you are on the GreenEDGE mailing list.
Out of interest, would you take up this offer for $77(depending on what's in it I guess). As they don't have a major sponsor do you think you might because it's your way of helping?

Permalink Reply by Martin Turner on December 9, 2011 at 13:16 I'm in.....as long as they don't mind a Kiwi supporting an Ozzie Pro Team.
Permalink Reply by snappy_don on December 9, 2011 at 13:57 Of course- they've even got a 'token' Kiwi on the team.
(unfair- Julian Dean is a solid rider)
No worries, Russell Crowe supports Australia!
I'd be tempted but it depends on what is in each package and at what cost. I guess it will have to wait until Monday's announcement. I am keen to see the official jersey when it is launched at the TDU, hopefully there are plenty available for purchase during the race.
The official one won't be launched until the TDU, those on the internet may or may not be the correct one.
Permalink Reply by colin ware-lane on December 9, 2011 at 20:44 if its not then the company has a problem as there advertising it as the 2012 tdf greenedge jersey!!
Where are the GreenEDGE jerseys online?
I hope you didn't buy one as the team have stated many times it won't be released until TDU. They will be wearing a jersey for the nationals and the Bay Crits, but that won't be the official jersey.

Is Subaru a Sponsor? There's a partnership with all Cycling Australia counterparts and Subaru....
Permalink Reply by Martin Turner on December 11, 2011 at 17:08 When the 2012 season kicks off, GreenEDGE – the newly appointed Australian WorldTour team – will be driving Subaru
Australia’s key cycling organizations have come together to form an alliance with Subaru in an effort to promote cycling in Australia and push a message of road safety across the nation. GreenEDGE joins Cycling Australia, AustCycle and the Amy Gillet Foundation in a partnership with the All-Wheel Drive car company.
“With GreenEDGE we have a team that can capture the imagination of Australians as they take on the best in the world,” said Subaru Australia General Marketing Manager Andrew Caie. “The team will have a huge influence in getting young people connected to the sport and out on their bikes to emulate their cycling heroes.
“As a company we’re in this for the long run as we know Subaru customers love to cycle, and, as a car company, we are committed to the safe use of the roads by everyone.”
GreenEDGE General Manager Shayne Bannan considers this alliance a perfect partnership for Australia’s first WorldTour team.
“For GreenEDGE this partnership is extremely valuable on several levels. With Subaru, we have access to the perfect vehicles for all our different purposes and demanding tasks throughout the season. From the cobbled paths of Paris-Roubaix to the alpine roads in the Tour de France, we’ll be driving great cars that suit the task at hand.
“Also, and just as importantly, we’ll be part of a great initiative promoting sustainability, safety and the joy of riding bikes. It’s great to see a big, international brand like Subaru support such a valuable cause and we are very happy to be a part of it too.”"
