Working on Sunday but hope to do the ride on Monday, might even add the ride up to Gumeracha and back again. Hope to see some reports on your day Sunday night.

I'll ask them to keep the red marker arrows out for you Clive but the sandwiches will all be gone.
The only time the Kona's ever let me down & it had to be this weekend. Good luck to all riders today. Be safe, enjoy. I'm looking forward to reading about it.
Fruit cake was great.

Great ride, good route and well organised, chapeau to bike SA. I went out like a scalded cat and limped home like the middle aged old fool that I am. Pain from my hip for the first time ever on the bike today but tbh I don't think it slowed me down a lot. 2h-45m, ave speed of 28 which I'm happy with, Baron smashed me, all that altitude training in South Africa must have helped him :). Lots of AC members along the way for a chat, a top day.

Best thing was I did not see one rider do anything silly, all rode really well (except me passing the tandem possibly :(

Great stats there Patrick well done..

I may head out and do unsupported when the bike is sorted out

Yell out if you want company, it is a great route.
Thanks Patrick I will
They guy who had a stack coming out of the carpark has to get an honorable mention too.....
Yes. Hope he got up and managed to ride.
After a quick dust off, I think he would have been all good to go. I think it was just one of those unlucky falls, which resulted from a big bunch of slow moving bikes all trying to set off for what turned out to be a great ride.
Good bumping into you fellas
Patrick, did you take a shortcut ?  77.36 km? The others are showing 80+
