Just looking at the event and only 16 attending - there must be more AC'ers going than that...

You could try the Williamstown Caravan Park, they may have a cabin available and it is right on the oval where the start is.
Gawler is also close by

if no luck with caravan park tanunda is 20 ks away and has a few places. The visitor centre number is 1300852982

Thanks, can't see me staying in a cabin at this time of year...FREEZING!

Last time I did that for the Bupa at Gumeracha stayed at Cuddly Creek and Phil got eaten by a mozzie in the bed think he got bite about dozen times! - thankfully I was fine :-)

Might try Tanunda and give them a call tomorrow

try few B&B and local pubs

Perhaps I could rent out a couple of rooms at my house, I'm only about 40 mins from Williamstown.

You'll just have to do an Ellison and get up early - don't wake me or the kids up!

Do you want me to toot the horn a few times in the driveway tomorrow morning Phil?

Can't quite believe it's eve of my biggest ride. I think I am all set, still unsure about what to wear on the bike, the current forecast is suggests hat we might get wet which I don't mind as I am now all prepared for with my new rain jacket. It does not look like it is going to be too cold either min 8.

Early night up at 5am ish...yawn

Good luck Michelle, you'll do it easily. The hot soup at the end makes it all worth while.

I am feeling a little bit of nervous anticipation excitment for my first grandslam and first mass group ride event.

Me too! Although there are sometimes quite large numbers out on the GW rides!
