Having two weeks off the bike due to a chest infection, I was a little unsure if I would ride today.
I set out thinking I would just take it easy ( smell the roses ) and see how it goes...
Conditions were almost perfect for riding today, and many of my Gawler Wheeler and AC friends were at Mt Torrens ready to enjoy the day. Before I knew it, we had zoomed around the almost flat course, and were enjoying sitting in the sun chatting about another Grand Slam completed.
How was your ride today ?

What a beautiful day for a ride!
Loop 1 was a blast, got on to some good groups and had fun.
Loop 2 I was pretty much running solo. A harder course with a bit more climbing
Another enjoyable ride thanks to BikeSA and all the volunteers.

Permalink Reply by Rob (Chewbacca) on April 1, 2012 at 22:11 Rode to and from the Grand Slam today to add a few extra kilometres to the total for the day. Basically a 100 km ride was turned into a 200 km day. Thankyou to all the volenteers as had a great day.

Permalink Reply by Rob (Chewbacca) on April 2, 2012 at 19:31 Probably will do to get well over 300 km for the day....Im always amazed at those Audax riders who knock off greater distances than me :) Matt Rawnsley is a legend :)
