Yes, I registered about three weeks ago.  A mate and I are driving over on the Friday and returning on the Monday.

We have yet to organise our accommodation and looking at the prices in that area I think it's the camp ground for us!

A pre-ride dinner sounds like a good idea - but a late Saturday night is probably not on the cards :-)

Yep, a pre ride dinner sounds good but I'll also want a good night's sleep. I'd be suggesting a post ride dinner would also be a good idea (celebrate our achievement, discuss the scenery, etc) - I'm thinking that most people wouldn't be attempting to drive back straight after this event and would stay Sunday night like we will be.

Yes we are also planning on driving on the Friday & back on the Monday.  Looking at renting a house so let me know if anyone is looking for accommodation.  Yes love the idea of the postride dinner - prob a better option to celebrate our success!  Well for me it will probably just getting to the finish line!  Reckon it might still be a chilly time of year....lets hope for a sunny windfree day?

I'd LOVE to go if I could get the time off. Should find out in a couple of weeks. Accom wont be easy to find, so if I can come, would be very interested in sharing a house rental
