Gran Fondo 2012
I'm doing the Gran Fondo for the first time and wonder whether anyone has room for a bike, body and bag in their car - happy to contribute to petrol cost of course :).

Lombardo, Have you sorted out a ride to Amy's Gran Fondo as yet? I have room in my car however I was planning to leave on the Friday morning and will be staying at Airey's Inlet. Michael

Hi Michael, sorry for the delayed reaction (haven't looked at this lately). I'm still keen to car-pool and had also planned to drive over on Friday and return on Monday. However, on the way back I now have commitments in Horsham/Dimboola - in other words on the Monday I will only go back half way. Would that work for you? (I will be more diligent checking for a reply this evening - sorry again!

I was planning to drive via Keith, Naracoorte, Edenhope, Camperdown, Colac to Lorne on the way over. Would be happy to detour via Horsham/Dimboola on the return leg. I need to ask you a few questions if that is OK?
Which suburb do you live in and at what time would you like to leave on Friday morning? (I need to look at logistics regarding departure time from home and whether I can fit in an early morning ride in before leaving).
I gather you from the earlier conversation thread you are staying in Lorne. Could you please confirm whether this is until Monday morning? At this stage I have not booked accommodation for Sunday night but I have tentatively discussed the matter with the owner.
How do you plan to get back from Horsham?
