Good luck to all that will be riding in those conditions

This will be interesting, Glenelg to Sema4 @ 4.30.

Fast ride this morning tho. :-)

Those 100km/hr southerlys will push me home!

But will your brakes slow you down from 100 to 0km/hr once you get to your house??

Northwest winds - typically denotes the direction the wind is coming from.  City - Payneham will be tough.

That said, last time Adelaide got a severe weather warning, it was more a damp fart than gale force winds.

"more a damp fart than gale force winds"

I'm counting on it...

bugga..... looking wet...

I was given wet weather gear for my birthday, so I'm happy with the rain.

Not so excited by the headwinds...oh, well a good adventure!

Take it easy in the hills, just been up through Norton - Marble Hill and Montacute. There is a lot of debri, broken sticks and branches all over the road up there. Norton isnt too bad at the moment, but Marble Hill and Montacute Heights has a lot of junk mid corner and is wet and slippery.

I assume other roads about the place will be similar.

Got home just before the rain set in. Nice warm shower and coffee.

Spied a lone cyclist crawling up the main street into Stirling this morning....the rain came pelting down about 10 minutes later.

I did the Mount Lofty-waterfall Gulley walk about 1pm and it was blowing a gale at Mt Lofty.

Just got home to Hallett Cove from FMC (up the veloway).

Not too bad.  Jacket works well, shoe covers work well, gloves are OK - my old 'waterproof' pants are terrible.  I think they're wetter on the inside than they were on the outside!

I'm still trying to find a good pair of pants!

I was lucky cycling to the physio. Headed off after some winds had abated and got home as the rain came down.
