1st time Ive ever been to Elizabeth Star Cycles and I walk in all clad in lycra and my GW top on(of course), I chat with a lovely lady for a quck sec or 2 about how i went last week on my hill ride with the GWs and then im distracted by these interesting Tubes, Foss Tubes...hmmm? Now, ok its either $4.70(AC price!!)for the average 60mm valve tube or $16.00 for these other things...what the? Is what I was thinking...but me and being into modern Technology and the future of tomorrow decided "hey, why not!". What technology you ask...basically lighter than most tubes, wont go'bang' coming downhill 100miles an hour and a most amazing factor in which I got them is the fact they can be fixed with HEAT, like a lighter prehaps if youre unlucky enough to get a puncture or so im told. If it gets a puncute it will somehow seal it a bit and minimise the flow of air getting out, genius!! I havent thrown them on my bike kit yet, but will carry them as my 'spares' and next puncture ill throw them straight in! I will keep you posted on the Foss Tubes.

That is some cool technology, must be some sort of plastic/rubber blend.

Cheers for that RD6!  :)

They sound great. I spend $10 on conti tubes anyway, so might as well try these out.

=D

got some today, yet to try em :P

Please keep us posted, I've been wondering whether these are any good for months!

+1 - they sound like a great idea, will have to try them.

What tubes go bang going downhill at 100mph.?That would be nasty.

I can't say I've ever been down a hill at 100MPH on a bicycle. 160km/h on a 23mm wheel sounds, er, slightly precarious.

Love these tubes. Bit heavy but super smoothe. Just ordered more for my second road bike.
