I played with the EPS kit at the TDU, very nice. I must admit before playing with it, I couldn't understand all the fuss, but I was converters, it is just so precise and responsive.

They only thing that I felt would take some getting used to is the multiple gear change where you hold the leaver for longer to change more gears at once. Having said that, with my current Campy gear, I usually only change one gear at a time until I find the one that feels the best.
Most campy shifts multiple gears, my record will go straight down or up on single movement or just one!

I can not for the life of me imagine why anyone would want to go electric shifters!

I think its a joke, next will be lipo packs in BB with a brushless motor in the hubs!

It's just not right!
So does mine, I just tend to shift down one gear at a time rather than multiple.

I couldn't understand why anyone would want electronic gears either, but after trying them I could see that for a racing cyclist there would be a benefit. S Record is precise, quick and reliable, S Record EPS is better, particularly under load.

An image that will stay with me for a while was a mechanic setting up Valverde's gorgeous white Pinarello Dogma at the TDU. Went to the Pinarello stand for a closer look and the guy said Movistar did a lot of the r and d  during it's development, obviously trying things out and tweeking during actual training conditions.

electronic gadgets just dont like me........Im just happy if my lights work :)

in the words of Harley (Durian Rider) how longs the warranty.......if the case of electronic shifting which is mega bucks at the moment, it needs to be longer than 12 mths......longer than an electric kettle :P

3 years for all campagnolo mechanical and shifting parts (including the EPS shifters, derailleurs etc) and two years on the power pack...

I shift more than one gear all the time (I throw across front and back at the same time) it woudl be nice to try the EPS... not sure how the Minister for Finance would like me trying it though ;-)
