I can't offer any opinions on the local Felt dealers, I bought mine from MBC in Melbourne, and online from Wiggle, but, FWIW:
I've got two 2009 Felt road bikes, an F3SL (SRAM Red) and an FA frameset fitted with SRAM Rival, and I had a 2006 F75.
I've been very happy with them, but can't speak for the 2011's. The F75 frame broke after approx 6000km, and was promptly replaced by the local distributor (Southcott's) with the '09 FA frameset which is a significant upgrade.
Worthy of note on the 2011 F series bikes is that everywhere else in the world there is a recall/replacement programme running for the forks on F3, F4, F5, F75 models. This does not seem to be happening in Australia so might be worth asking about. The replacement forks are NOT Felt branded, so it should be obvious if a new bike has been retrofitted or not. I've no idea why there has not been a recall notice in Australia, See Here for the Felt notice. The best two sources for advice I can think of are either directly through the tech help on the Felt website, who have replied to a couple of questions of mine quite quickly, or via THIS FELT FORUM where a least one senior Felt employee frequents. There is quite a lot of info on the fork recall on that forum already.
G'day Paul ended up getting last years F3, love it. Thanks for your info Daryl
The bike shop in Melbourne Street, North Adelaide sells Felt bikes.
