Elizabeth East to Middleton???

Im riding from home to Middleton (Im not a nutjob Im a cyclist) staying the night then riding back.

I have done a rough route http://www.bikemap.net/route/1445927 was just wondering what people thought.  Are there any roads or sections that you would say "dont go on that road!!".

Also I will be travelling very light just a day pack. Any suggestions on what I should make sure I take.

Items I have thought of include: Sunscreen, Pump( I do use CO2 better to have back up), extra staminade powder, Carbs, Camera, Mob phone, Least amount clothes can get away with.

If anyone is as mad as me and would like to ride some of the route or all of it cool more the merrier.

Going on Sunday was last minute decision. So hard to find accom. 

Should be a great adventure and challenge.

Haha! Nothing like a bit of last-minute planning :-)

I can imagine accomodation isn't the easiest to find by now.  If I wasn't doing the Gawler Wheelers Full Moon ride tomorrow night, I'd join you (seriously, very very tempted - I want to do a ride like this over the long weekend)

I could pedal down straight off the back of the Gawler Wheelers Full Moon ride hey?  Honestly, I really really am tempted...  How much is the extra cabin?

got mine for 90 but put linen hire on top so 100. Was not going to cart sheets down.

That's a nice ride, watch for long weekend traffic is all I can add.
Plus hardest bit be surviving getting out of Elizabeth I would have thought!
You be fine, eat almonds and medjool dates and you be fine!

puncture kit so you can fix any tubes at Middleton.
