Thanks for organising this ride Angus, it was great to be able to bring Chris' grandson along with us on his first ever proper ride. Jaron is quite worn out now - 23km on a bmx is no mean feat, especially at Grandad's pace on the way back at about 17kph!

Bit chilly to start with, but it was lovely by the time we got to Henley Beach.  Very much enjoyed the brunch and chat with all the AC'ers.

Happy Easter!

The lads had a ball, Liam aged 4 did it all the way and return with minimal fuss, approx 28-30kms return trip, both lads are still HYPERACTIVE and waiting for em to crash n burn asap :) The CFO was impressed as its her first long distance ride on the MTB

I was disappointed to miss this today but the commitments I had today turned out to be earlier than I anticipated.  Then the rain turned me right off.  It poured down at Norwood.

Glad to hear so many had such a lovely ride! Happy Easter all.

It was brilliant, think will have to get out more with the kids they loved it. Wish I could have chatted more but the kids needed supervision riding all over the place lol

Think we are getting Nathan a new bike asap, he struggled on his tiny little bike, he has asked for the shiniest bike in the world. Can't believe how much Nathan loved the ride even with the rain. Little miss wants to ride her bike next time too rather than be pulled in the trailer.

Phil is currently editing the video and hoping to have it up asap :-)

Thanks Gus for organising Adelaide Cyclists. Many of us now enjoy group rides and the friendships they bring.

I enjoyed today's ride, despite some rain, but then I had a rain jacket. I reckon about 35 attended which includes 7 children. Amazed at how well the children went, especially one who had outgrown his bike, and more so for the one still growing into his bike.

During intros over coffee, Roger was shocked to learn he was sitting next to me / Heather. "You don't have horns after all." He had this impression that I was tough and aggressive.

Would have loved to have been able to attend this, but had egg hunts to organise, nori rolls to prepare, a family lunch across town to get to, the result being kids full of chocolate and no bike time. I'll make it to an AC event one day!
