Hello People,
I'm trying to organise another ride for Dwayne this year. It will be the same route at last year riding from Port Adelaide to Salisbury (and back again if you're keen) in order to complete his commute, stopping at the accident site to pay our respects.
I thought I would do it around what would have been his birthday so we can get together to celebrate his life. Let me know if you're interested and when it gets closer we can organise times and a meeting point for the morning. I was also thinking we could stay in Salisbury to have breakfast, and catch up on good memories!
PS. Don't worry if you don't have a road bike, any old bike will do
9pm Start at the Lighthouse, Port Adel
Last year Dwayne Mitchell died on Ride to Work Day, riding to work. Friends and family would like to invite anyone and everyone on this tribute ride.

Opps, fat fingers accidently pressed the submit button.
Alana (Dwayne's partner) has organised this ride.
I would like to add:
Last year the turn out was amazing, I think I may have seen another event on the same day (pancakes?) but for those of you who would like to go on a casual ride for a good cause, you are more than welcome family and friends of Dwayne Mitchell.
We are leaving the light house in Port Adelaide at 9pm.
For those who dont know who Dwayne is, he was unfortunately killed last year riding to work on National Ride to Work day along the Port River Express Way.
"if it wasnt for Dwayne, I certainly wouldnt be riding a bike today"

Last years ride was very moving, it would be nice to celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing this time.
