Permalink Reply by Steven Orr on April 3, 2012 at 12:42 Spot on Pat, one of my collisions was a kangaroo that hit me and another time it was a clip stack!
Firstly, no matter if its paranoia fed hysteria or not, id like to extend my condolences to the rider and wish him the best service of care and hope he gets better soon. Secondly, yes...Assume makes an *Eyoore* out of "U" and "Me". :P
Although I think it's pretty safe to assume that this particular cyclist wasn't hit by a kangaroo, being on Lower North East Rd.

When last year my bike decided to have a lie down with me on it while going around a roundabout and I ended up on the road, if one had seen the aftermath one might well have imagined I'd been hit - dented handle bars, bloodied face - but nothing could have been further from the truth.
Permalink Reply by Just another psycho-list on April 3, 2012 at 22:48 My recent crash was completely my own - wheel slipping on sand on roundabout on the seafront at Seacliff, and my bike also decided to have a lie down. I was going a bit faster than I should have, trying to get away from a car behind me that was being a little, shall we say, intimidating.
Hope the person in the above accident was OK. It's no fun crashing.
