Yes it is Vic sq
6:00-6:30 meeting time.

Cheers. Not able to make it though... seems stuff is getting in the way of having a good time. I will put last friday of month in my calendar for the next one.

No, I'm not a big fan of being a deliberate asshole on the road and antagonising drivers.

Yea why go out in the cold when you can sit at home in the warm and antagonise AC'ers

AC'ers aren't in charge of several tons of metal pointed at me at high-speed.

Seriously, the whole idea of CM ges against the very idea of reconcoliation between drivers and cyclists. Sometimes we're our own worst enemy when we do shit like this.

"..No, I'm not a big fan of being a deliberate ass... on the road and antagonising drivers.'

+ 1 (except for offensive language.)

I wonder, does CM have a "group" here at AC..? I reckon they need one.

Why so negative
Have you ever attended this great social ride?

I been on two CM's, the timing is invariably inconvienient for me but I found on both occaisions that there were a few radicals that went out of their way to antagonise anybody and everybody, not just motorists but pedestrians as well by taking an extra lane and then slowing down, riding through red lights, riding on the pavement and through other pedestrian areas.

Great social ride?!? Okay, I used to attend CM in the 90s. Riders yelled, carried on and worst of all, BROKE EVERY ROAD RULE. Way to take the high road. If you can honestly tell me this isn't happening any more and it's just a bunch of dudes and dudettes riding single-file around the city (because face it, there are few places in the city mile where it's appropriate to to otherwise) then I'll reconsider.

People on this ride are not being deliberate assholes!
It is a social ride that helps to raise awerenes of cyclists on the rode!

Critical Mass's time has passed.

We should change it into a peak hour single occupant car club.

Only catch is you need to have a bike attached to your car and drive around in formation.
