With thanks to the sponsors* of Adelaide Cyclists I have upgraded the site at significant cost to 'yellow jersey' status (that is better.) In the background there are some improvements but to you the users you can now:
Upload video directly to the site in a range of formats
The site can take more photos - like it already has 6000 so what's a few more.
Classifieds One idea that came from a comment in the recent OutdoorID giveway (still time!) was to be able to see photos in the classifieds. That module upgrade costs money as well and I have now done it. For the next month posting a classified will remain free and after that I might charge $1 or so or maybe just put a price on featuring.
Anyway, sell your stuff, and it's not limited it to just cycling stuff either, so go for it.
Chat has been upgraded and a comment via the give-away also asked for chat. I don't like chat for lots of reasons but what I thought was chat could be turned on, like it was during the Tour de France and Paris-Roubaix, but for for local events. For example on the Thursday night before Amy's Ride or the TDU Challenge to shake down some ideas, seek live advice and build community for the event. I would seek some community 'experts' to be discussion hosts. It might not be related to an event either. Maybe just a monthly live chat session to keep it special.
I welcome your feedback on all of this.

I do however like the idea of chat before the big community rides, great for organising lifts, meeting points before and after and general motivation.
