Canyon Bikes
Hi all
How hard is it to get a Canyon bike in Australia? There doesn't seem to be too many for sale on local websites either.
Any tips for obtaining one?

Team Omega Pharma Lotto were selling their team bikes at Herald Tour last Oct for $4000 with Cosmic Carbons included.

Good way to rid old frames which had many newton meters of torque applied every single day, only a bargain if not abused IMHO!

Up to the individual if they want to take the punt frank, know others who have had no issue. individuals can make that judgement.

I have been researching this and have sent a few emails to Canyon.
It appears to be difficult. They will not ship to Australia, nor will they sell you one in Germany. You must have a billing address for a country that they ship to. If you have friends that live overseas you could give them the money and get them to buy it, however I dont know how warranty would work if something went wrong (ie everything would be in your friends name).
A work colleague did come across a delivery company that would act as a middle man for the transaction. I believe someone in Melbourne successfully brought a bike across that way.
Its a shame its difficult, cos they are sweet bikes
