Brown snake on the SOB near Two Wells Road

Just a warning to all SOB riders me and Scott had the misfortune to nearly run over a 2ft brown snake this morning. I rode past it not realising it was a snake, but then as Scott came past, it reared up ready to strike. Fortunate that it wasn't a Gawler Wheelers group ride this morning, that might not have gone well.  Keep your eyes open while riding out there ........

I didn't see any snakes out there this morning, but I did run over a small branch ( looked a little like a snake :)

I noticed a lot of dead snakes 6 or 7 on the Dead Man's pass climb out of Gawler

I heard that  snakes have been real bad this year

There was one about 2-3foot long just a few hundred meters from the toll gates on Thursday night. 2 commuters allerted us its presence in the gutter.

we live behind a creek in morphett vale and  we`ve had a t least three in the backyard
