Anyone know anything about this? Looks like an Adelaide version of the Melburn Roobaix but the Treadlie website doesn't really have many details.

I am not involved and have never participated

so it is about 40kms according to the Facebook page

Sounds like fun :-)

Alley cat?

I think that's about the best way to describe it Dahondude, very much like the Roobaix. 40km of Adelaide lanes and alleys, with a sense of fun. Sam said he'll be putting more details out about it soon, but basically on the morning you'll be given a map, and let loose on the City. Some of us will be detouring via Wayville tho, as it's also the Roller Derby Grand Final that day!

Thanks Smudge! I might drop by the shop and have a chat to them about it....

Ooh I did the roobaix this year and it was mighty fun... Sign me up for this!

Yes it looks fun. I've often thought an alleycat (time managed in the interests of safety) would be a good AC event, but hadn't got any further than dreaming up a list of check-points. I hope we see more of these in future.

mmmmm........ unleash the fixie for this one!

Indeed! Pity the one I'm building up at the mo' won't be ready:-(

it just wouldnt be right not to ride a fixie on one of these type of events :) Maybe there is a little hipster in us all :)

Do you reckon this would be kid friendly? Thinking city streets and all.
