I even asked my mum today whom I presume planted them but didn't get an answer - ravages of old age.
The fruit blossom is from a purple leafed plum - cherry sized fruit, quite yum (-:
Permalink Reply by heather on August 14, 2012 at 10:22 I had a green leafed plum with cherry sized fruit, purple skins and sweet tasty yellow flesh. The tree died during the drought and only realised when one spring it did not produce leaves. I did not water the trees but relied on the high water table level, not thinking about the water table level dropping during a drought.
