The top two look like spokey dokeys - all you need is a peg.
Not sure abouth the bottom 2!
The bottom 2 are the old ones - guess I need higher tech shim material!
Least the thing has stopped squeeking now - I was getting embarrassed cycling around :-p
It looks like the protective layer used on the chain stay. But not sure since those pics show it quite thick.
Saddle clamp onto the rails on the underside. Bits of aluminium drink tin (can be cut with good scissors) might be a goer.
Too right they are! The clamps are a bit sagged and the shims allow for that bit extra bite.
Need to replace it really, I have tried "unsagging" the clamps twice in the vice now - metal fatigue :-/
Time for new seat post and seat me thinks.
Last thing you want is having to ride home from Lobethal with no seat.
Could be a good challenge though, we did a full hour spin class out of the seat the other day.
Seat is fine, brand new last January - the seat post clamps are not :-/
