No warranty on auction goods is the usual situation.

I think you will find there is no reserve, its a fire sale, liquidator just wants cash.

yes very well known owners!

How long did it take everyone to get their password and verified stuff? Signed up last night and still waiting, makes me wish I saw this thread a little earlier.

Just bought a new helmet for $25, pretty happy as I was about to spend up to $80 in the next few weeks. Going back later for some more stuff.

Hey Paul, I am guy there with 4 year old Pre schooler LOL, kids helmets were going cheap ! Got two for the lads

Buy up big and sell it on AC to the people that couldn't make it today, with a small profit for yourself of course.

Some of the popular items sold went to other bike shops - hence they can sell at what ever cost they please.......

How many there Rob?  I remember a tackle shop on O'Halloran Hill closing down...they had about 1000 people there (it was on the weekend) and most items were going for 90% of retail!!!!  It was mad...thankfully I chose to go fishing that day... ramp was quiet :)

Shop was packed as the auction progressed - people come and go knowing what items they wanted to bid by looking at the catalog. Few times I missed out as I had to take our 4 year old son out for a toilet break / food break / local bakery break / I had to leave at 2pm to collect my older son from school 45 mins away. I was tempted to auction off our 4 year old son at a bargin price :P

@RD6 Sorry just saw this, Think I was standing next to you! I was in the NAB jacket.

Got some new tyres for half retail, got a heap of gloves and cleats that I now have too many of and got a 3 bike carrier for $80, retailed at $180 and cheapest I found online was $140, so pretty happy.

Sweet ! I wanted to stay a bit longer as I was eyeing up those Thule Roof bike racks, I wondered how much they went for ? The best bargin I got was two bike helmets for the lads and pro full carbon tri adjustable bars $80 down from $360

Most of the Thule 591s went for $170 with one going for $150
