I've just seen this report on Adelaide Now about fishing line being tied between trees across paths, bridges etc.  Please be careful if you are commuting through the parklands - particularly the Greenhill Rd / Hutt St corner:

spineless bastards

A whole bunch of us use this as our commute home from norwood and  i was wondering when this might happen. With so many people living in that part of the park now is someone unhappy about the CX race maybe? I have been yelled at for my lights being too bright!

If they're uphappy about the CX race they're stringing the wire up in the wrong park! So I doubt it.

With the IQ of the folk doing this, anything is possible!

We had this happen on a trail bike run around Robe a few years back, we were not impressed!

Thanks for the warning, as I ride through there most days!

Absolute lowlife.

I wonder if it’s a deliberate act of an evil mind aimed at inflicting serious injury - or - an act of an immature mind not having thought about the consequences of such an act. Either way - it is incredibly nasty and callous.

Looking out for fishing line strung across bike paths will certainly take the enjoyment out of my rides through the parklands.

Do I recall something similar happening last year?

What a sad world we live in :-(

this happeded on the bike track from seaford to maclaren vale last year, accross the wooded bridge

Thanks Adam for sharing this. I ride through this part of the parklands 4 days a week so will keep a lookout.

Thanks for the warning as I live not too far from that corner, I will keep my eye out for the bastards doing this, CHEERS!!!
